ANU Panorama

The Australian National Univeristy's National Institutes were established to raise national and international awareness of the extraordinary breadth and depth of academic activity at the University. In 2006, the University implemented a new academic structure based around seven ANU Colleges made up of the research and education Centres, Schools and Faculties that contribute to the various broad disciplines in ANU.

The previous activities of most of the National Institutes are now being undertaken within the ANU Colleges. The National Institute of Environment has become the ANU Institute for Environment, while the National Institute for Indigenous Australia has been superceded by the National Institute for Indigenous Studies.

For information related to the activities previously associated with the National Institutes, please visit the appropriate College or Institute webpage.
